| Subject | The mission of St. Mark Foundation for Coptic History Studies is to research and collect complete and documented information on Coptic history since the coming of of Christianity to Egypt up to the present. |
Its studies will include the civilization and culture of Coptic Egypt, the history of the Coptic Orthodox Church, of its patriachs, its saints and martyrs, its monks and monasteries, its convents and churches the social life of Coptic Christians through the ages, the establishment of churches in the diaspora, and the participation of the Coptic Church in the Ecumenical movement.
The Foundation plans to publish its research and books regularly, making them available to the greatest number of individuals, churches, libraries, organizations, colleges and religious institutes. The Foundation hopes to be a definitive resource and reference for Coptic history.
